liblocale-hebrew-perl software package provides module providing bidirectional Hebrew support, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblocale-hebrew-perl
liblocale-hebrew-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblocale-hebrew-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblocale-hebrew-perl *
You will get with liblocale-hebrew-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
